Electric Cloud Builds Momentum in APAC Region as More Customers Realize Significant ROI From Faster, Automated Software Builds
Company Signs Six New Integration Partners Across Six Countries
Sunnyvale, Calif., March 30, 2009 Electric Cloud®, the leading provider of software production management (SPM) solutions, announced further expansion into the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. To fuel its growth, Electric Cloud announced strategic partnerships with ALT Global of Hong Kong and Singapore, DTC Cortex Consulting of Taiwan, Emdoor Technologies of China, Meteonic Innovation Pvt. Ltd. of India, Today Systems of Korea and A.I. Corporation of Japan.
Software production management addresses the build-test-deploy processes within software development -- which had largely remained a set of manual, time-consuming tasks until recent automation and acceleration breakthroughs were proven to deliver many positive financial impacts at some of the world's largest electronics manufacturers.
"The sales potential for Electric Cloud is enormous in the APAC region, where companies are striving to streamline their software engineering processes," said Sam Zhong, President, Emdoor Technologies China. Electric Cloud products are being used by software development teams across a variety of industries, including seven of the largest semiconductor makers and six out of the ten leading mobile device providers. "Over the past three years, we have deployed our SPM solutions at leading companies in the Asia-Pacific region such as Huawei, Qualcomm, and Samsung, where we improved their build times by as much as 20x," said Mike Maciag, CEO of Electric Cloud. "Now, the timing is right to accelerate our growth in the region through the formation of strategic partnerships. We are pleased to be working with six of the most trusted systems integrators in the APAC region, who have a proven ability to help companies save money and become more competitive."
