Steve Brodie, Chief Executive Officer

Steve Brodie is Chief Executive Officer at Electric Cloud. He has over 25 years of experience as a leader in the enterprise software industry, introducing new technologies to the market for both venture-backed startups and leading enterprise IT organizations. Prior to joining ElectricCloud, Steve was Group Vice President and General Manager of the Application Lifecycle Management Business Unit at Serena Software, where he spearheaded the Orchestrated ALM strategy as well as the company's entry and growth in release management, a cornerstone technology for DevOps. Prior to Serena, Steve served as President and Chief Products & Marketing Officer at Skytap, a leading provider of self-service cloud automation solutions, where he was responsible for delivering the world's first VMware-based public cloud. He also led the Load Testing and Application Performance Management product teams at HP/Mercury Interactive and previously held senior product management positions at IBM/Rational.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer and systems engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a graduate of the executive management program at the University of Washington.

Ken Long, Chief Financial Officer

Ken Long, Chief Financial Officer

Ken Long is Chief Financial Officer for Electric Cloud. Ken brings more than 10 years experience in corporate financial planning and public accounting. He spent several years in public accounting with Big 4 accounting firms where his experience included SEC filings, initial and secondary public offerings, private placement debt offerings, mergers, acquisitions, etc. He also brings a proven track record in private industry, holding finance executive positions at both public and private software companies including NetIQ and StrongMail Systems. He has led both small and large finance organizations responsible for public offerings, Sarbanes Oxley implementations, and the day-to-day management of the overall accounting function.

Ken is a licensed CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Anders Wallgren, Chief Technical Officer

Anders Wallgren, Chief Technical Officer

Anders Wallgren is Chief Technical Officer of Electric Cloud. Anders brings with him over 15 years of in-depth experience designing and building commercial software. Prior to joining Electric Cloud, Anders held executive positions at Aceva, Archistra, and Impresse. Anders also held management positions at Macromedia (MACR), Common Ground Software and Verity (VRTY), where he played critical technical leadership roles in delivering award winning technologies such as Macromedia's Director 7 and various Shockwave products.

Anders holds a B.SC from MIT.

Vishy Karra, Vice President of Engineering

Vishy Karra, Vice President of Engineering

Vishy Karra is the vice president of engineering at Electric Cloud. He has almost two decades of industry experience, including nearly a dozen years successfully building and leading high-performing engineering teams. He most recently served as vice president of engineering for 10gen, the developers of the open-source database MongoDB. Prior to 10gen, Vishy was research and development director at VMware, where he managed engineering teams working on datacenter products, including the flagship vSphere platform. Vishy has had extensive experience in database development, which included stints at Sybase and at Oracle, where he was responsible for the development of their database's storage engine.

Vishy holds a Master of Science in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Rohit Jainendra (RJ), Vice President of Products

Rohit Jainendra (RJ), Vice President of Products

Rohit Jainendra (RJ) is Vice President of Products at Electric Cloud. RJ brings nearly two decades of experience and a proven track record of product success to the company. RJ is responsible for all aspects of product management along with the new user experience function within Electric Cloud. Previously, he served as vice president at Serena Software where he led the products function in the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) business unit. During his tenure, RJ helped design the award-winning Serena Release Manager and was responsible for spearheading the company's entry into the DevOps space. Prior to Serena, RJ was chief architect at Rubiconsoft, managing the platform team for a demand forecasting application. RJ holds a master's degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Angelo State University.

Christian Nall, Executive Vice-President of Field Operations

Christian Nall, Executive Vice-President of Field Operations

Christian brings more than twenty years of experience in sales leadership and his career has spanned many innovative software, hardware, outsourcing and SaaS enterprises. Prior to Electric Cloud, Christian was the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations of Composite Software Inc, a leader in data virtualization solutions. Christian has also held VP of Sales positions at both publicly owned and privately held start-ups like Proofpoint, Exigen Group, Spyglass, Hitachi Data Systems and IBM.

Christian holds a B.S. Degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of California at Berkeley.

Kalyan Ramanathan, Vice President of Marketing

Kalyan Ramanathan, Vice President of Marketing

Kalyan Ramanathan is vice president of marketing at Electric Cloud. Kalyan brings 20 years of experience in software development and marketing to Electric Cloud. Kalyan most recently served as Senior Director of product marketing for HP, where he oversaw marketing efforts for the HP data center management/automation solutions and the HP cloud management suite. Previously, as director of marketing for Opsware (acquired by HP in 2007), Kalyan was instrumental in achieving significant revenue growth for Opsware's automation solution. Prior to Opsware, Kalyan led product marketing and product management functions at Collation (acquired by IBM) and Portal Software.

Kalyan has an MBA from Stanford University.

Prathap Dendi, Vice President of Business Development

Prathap Dendi, Vice President of Business Development

Prathap has over 15 years of experience in technology executive and leadership positions in companies ranging from startups to public organizations. He has deep international business development background in software, hardware, services and Cloud Computing. Before joining Electric Cloud, Dendi served as IBM's business development executive for the cloud computing business, where he was instrumental in establishing IBM's cloud platform and services. Dendi played a key role in growing IBM's Service Oriented Architecture platform through strategic partnerships with companies such as Capgemini, Accenture, Deloitte and Infosys. He was also responsible for driving software strategy including acquisitions and new technology creation, and held leadership roles at IBM in software, services, sales and business development. Prior to IBM, Dendi held senior positions with Actional, Abilizer, Aspect Development and Ramco Systems. His career includes work with several Fortune 500 companies including Allianz, Barclays Group, Visa, Disney, Gap, Chevron, Procter & Gamble, Nissan and Union Pacific.

Dendi holds a bachelor of technology degree in electronics engineering and telecommunications engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India.

John Ousterhout, Chairman of the Board

John Ousterhout is Founder and Board Chairman of Electric Cloud, Inc. He is also the creator of the Tcl scripting language and is well known for his work in distributed operating systems, high-performance file systems, and user interfaces.

Prior to Electric Cloud, John was Founder and CEO of Scriptics Corporation (acquired by Interwoven (IWOV)), Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems (SUNW), and Professor of Computer Science at U.C. Berkeley.

John holds a BS degree in Physics from Yale University and a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a Member of the National Academy of Engineering and has received numerous awards, including the ACM Software System Award, the ACM Grace Murray Hopper Award, the National Science Foundation Presidential Young Investigator Award, and the U.C. Berkeley Distinguished Teaching Award.

Mike Maciag

Mike Maciag served as the CEO of Electric Cloud for over 7 years. Prior to joining Electric Cloud, Mike was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at MS2 (acquired by Agile Software (AGIL)), an enterprise software company he founded in 1998 where he established a new application category Product Lifecycle Automation (PLA). Prior to MS2, Mike played an essential role in establishing new markets at Electronics for Imaging and NetFrame Systems, Inc., which led both companies to successful public offerings. Mike also served as Executive Director of Corporate Development for Informix Software (acquired by IBM) where he managed the corporate venture fund, mergers and acquisitions, product marketing strategy and venture community relationship management.

Mike holds a BS degree from Santa Clara University as well as an MBA from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Yogen Dalal

Yogen Dalal is an entrepreneur, engineer, and Silicon Valley executive who has been at Mayfield Fund since 1991. He invests in the consumer and internet infrastructure areas.

Prior to joining Mayfield, Yogen was a founding member of two startups, Claris Corporation and Metaphor Computer Systems. Yogen was also a member of the original Star and Ethernet development teams at Xerox, and a co-author of the TCP Specification in 1974 while at Stanford University.

Yogen earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford and a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay where he was honored as a Distinguished Alum.

Steve Krausz

Steve managed the firm's investments in and serves on the boards of Blekko, Guidewire, Imperva, Quixey, ReadyForce, Savings.com, Smartling, ThreatMetrix, Trusteer and Xirrus.

Steve also serves on the board of the WAVC, the World Affairs Council, the Stanford GSB Trust and DAPER. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Stanford Business School, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

Douglas Schrier

Prior to joining Rembrandt Venture Partners Douglas Schrier was at Argo Global Capital since 2001 where he was a Senior Partner. Doug has been involved in funding, managing, and developing technology companies for over 20 years. His prior experience includes being Senior Vice-President for Acquisitions and Strategic Ventures at SAIC in La Jolla, CA. While at SAIC, Doug was responsible for investing over $90 million in nine companies, as well as being responsible for commercial, acquisitions and joint ventures. Doug was co-founder of Multum Information Services and President of Ceon Corporation where collectively he raised over $75 million. Doug has also held positions at Salomon Brothers Inc., where he was an Associate in their Venture Capital Group and at Prudential-Bache Capital Funding where he worked as an Associate in Corporate Finance. Currently, Doug sits on the boards of Electric Cloud, Proximetry, Aptana and is a board observer at Convio.

Doug received his MBA from Columbia Business School in 1990 and his undergraduate degree in Economics/Pre-Med from DePauw University in 1986.
